State Awards & Scholarships

Celebrate and Share a Nutrition Event- Have you had a nutrition promotion in your cafeteria this year, such as a theme day or celebrating Kansas School Lunch Week? Share your ideas and enter your event for a chance at a $50 award toward Fall Conference Registration. Six $50 awards will be given each school year.
Elizabeth Mettling Award- Elizabeth Mettling, SNA-KS President 1980-81, was a strong supporter of continuing education for Child Nutrition Professionals. If you have made continuing education a priority for you, apply for the Outstanding Achievement of Continuing Education in School Foodservice for a chance to win a $100 award toward Fall Conference.
SNA-KS Scholarship- Are you taking a college class and need monetary assistance? Do you wish to attend a conference or workshop, but need financial help? Apply for Scholarship assistance and let SNA-KS help you succeed!
National Awards
Visit the Awards Page on the School Nutrition Association Website to apply for a National Award. Many awards are available for achievement in school foodservice, membership recruitment and professional development. Awards are presented at the Annual National Conference. National Award Deadlines are throughout the year.
